Here’s what I’m working on right now! Have changed some plans since I last posted. Last update 10/22/16.
Rewriting my draft novel, Cloud Raven.
Right now I’m done with Kiade’s half of the first act and I’m reintroducing Alex. I struggled to connect with his character initially, and it felt like too many good things were happening to him. The rewrite so far is proving to be a marked improvement on his character and story arc.
Writing detailed character bios for my comic book characters.
I’m still doing this. It’s a low-priority project since there’s no publication deadlines and hard limits on how much I can do without an artist. The bios help me and my future artist keep track of them and develop appearances suited to their history and personality.
I was initially going for 10 villain bios and 6 hero bios, but I keep inventing new characters. (Fortunately only a handful of them are in the first issue). Also if I decide to write bios for secondary characters who aren’t super-powered heroes or villains they will probably not be as detailed, but there will be a lot of them. I want to write bios for the secondary characters but it’s just not a priority right now.

These are to build off this page, and let people explore the world of Cloud Raven more deeply without giving away potential spoilers. I haven’t done this yet, largely because the story and the world have been going through a lot of fine tuning and a few major changes.
However, I’m happy enough with the story as it’s coming now to start working on these again. Expect them to come slowly because I often choose to work on the book instead.
Running a role-playing campaign in the world of Nocturne.
This is awesome and I will probably tell you more about it later. Set in the same world as my Birthday serial.
